Course Description

This theory-based course prepares students to test for their Commercial Learner's Permit written test in the state of Michigan.

Students will spend 26 hours over the course of 14 weeks learning:

  • The process for obtaining their CLP
  • Pre-trip inspection
  • Transporting cargo
  • Transporting passengers safely
  • Air brakes
  • Combination vehicles
  • Doubles and triples
  • Tank vehicles
  • Hazardous Materials
  • The process for obtaining their CDL
